Adult Anti-Stress Colouring Books// 2016

we all get stressed out, right? well I have found a way to combat my own stress… well most of the time anyway! I have been using the adult anti-stress colouring books as an excuse to take the time out to relax and colour.

When I first heard about the new hype I didn’t think much of it as we all think of colouring books as enjoyment for children but they’re not just for children- there are now a selection of colouring books for adults too!

I currently use the calming art therapy colouring book which has a great variety of themed pages from animals and plants to fruit and lamp shades! I found this one on Amazon but I know there are also a wide selection of adult colouring books in WHSmith so I would definitely recommend having a look in there also.

Have you tried adult colouring books? Let me know what you think!

My Valentine’s Day Makeup Menu // 2016

Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day tomorrow or not, it’s still another excuse for us ladies to make extra effort in order to impress so I thought I would show you the make up I’ll be wearing in an attempt to do so (even know I’ll have to be doing my impressing over snapchat as my partner has to work tomorrow – *sigh*)

To prime I’ve decided on Benefit’s the Porefessional Matte Rescue – I have only recently purchased this mattifying gel but it’s already working a dream, always minimalising pores and giving the perfect base for foundation. For foundation it’s going to be bareMinerals Bareskin, I want to go for a natural and lightweight look and therefore this serum like foundation is perfect! I’m kinda contradicting myself now because I’ve chosen the thickest concealer known to creation – MAC’s pro longwear but those blemishes definitely need to be covered! Onto highlight and contour and there simply is no other option than the Nars Steven Klein One shocking moment cheek studio palette… simply oh em gee. I will be using the very well known and loved Laguna to bronze and to highlight I will be using the very subtle yet pretty Paloma. For the cheeks it will be MAC’s modest blush and the eyes Charlotte Tilbury’s Colour Chameleon in bronzed garnet- this works so beautifully with green eyes, damn that women gets it so right every single time! To finish the eyes I’ll be wearing the Lancôme Hypnose mascara. Finally, on to the lips and it will either be MAC Please Me or MAC Honeylove – I haven’t yet decided between pink or nude however I’m obsessed with nudes so that’s the more likely on top of MAC’s lip liner in Whirl. To finish a quick spritz of Urban Decay’s allnighter makeup setting spray and I’m ready to get back to scrapbook searching.

What makeup are you wearing tomorrow? and what makeup items would you recommend?

Davines MELU Shampoo & Conditioner // Review 2016

Expensive hair care has always been a big no no from me but I recently had highlights put through my hair and saw my hair salon had a fair variety of the Davines products available to buy, it looked appealing and my hair dresser told me my hair would really benefit from using the MELU shampoo and conditioner therefore I thought I would try it out, mainly to stimulate whether she just wanted to make more money out of me or whether it was actually any good.

Autumn Clothing Must Haves! // 2015

And so it begins… I’m back and back to show you some of the bits I’ve been picking up in the last few weeks or so. A lot has been changing this last year so I haven’t really had time to take time out and do me ( does that make sense? probably not) but now I feel settled and I’ve realised that it is important to do what you want to do so I’m here and have SO many future posts planned to share, right now it’s my Autumn Clothing Must-Haves:

Firstly, a pretty patterned skirt. I’ve recently purchased this one from New Look. In the colder months I really am a sucker for wearing jeansimage whenever I can so I thought I would change it up a bit this year and wearing a skirt with some tights, a nice top and some boots is a really casual but also kinda smart way to make an effort. I really like the zip either side detail on this one and I especially like that it’s not too short.. I’m not one for a cold behind! Finally, the colour means that it is very wearable and appropriate for the time of year, I can pair this with pretty much anything!

Glossybox December 2014 Review

I can not believe that we are in December already,DSCF1239 this year has gone by incredibly fast and with another month comes another glossybox so here is this months review:

Anatomicals Zap! Zap! Zap! Gets That Chap. Day and Night Spot Stick

DSCF1205This double ended product is super handy! I have been using this product ever since I received this months box and I do think it would be a great essential for someone that rarely gets spots but unfortunately at the moment I have a fair few and I do not think this treatment is strong enough to clear my face. However, this stick is quick and easy to use and perfect to chuck in your handbag! This product is very reasonably priced at £3.79 and can be purchased at www.asos.com

Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain

DSCF1206The colour of this stain is beautiful, I was sent the shade ‘coral’ and I love it. I will continue to use this product as it is really easy to blend on the cheeks and tints your lips gorgeously to leave a natural finish. This 2 in 1 is again perfect for the handbag and I am definitely going to check out their website and see what other colours they do of this product, if any. This product is reasonably priced if you consider that it is a 2 in 1 at £12.99 and can be bought at www.bellapierre.co.uk Continue reading

Winter Warmers // 2014

We’re in December now and the weather is getting bloomin’ cold so I thought I would share a small post with you regarding what I must have especially for Winter.

1. A big thick scarf

Every girl needs a scarf to be able to chuck on over any outfit at stupid o’clock in the morning before running out of the door. I am currently wearing a blanket wrap as a scarf as they’re so thick and cosy and that way I have a 2 in 1 sort of thing as I can wear it as either a blanket wrap or a scarf, that’s a good idea eh?

So I have picked out for you two of my favourite scarves for this season along with the links below:

2. A cosy coat

I must have a very warm coat to keep me warm at all times and of course this is an essential for coping with winter! I also find that the bigger the coat the better because that results in bigger pockets so I have extra room for my every day needs (eg. lipstick, lipgloss, oh… and my phone!) .

My Christmas Wish List 2014

It’s nearly Christmas and like I said in my last post (check it out if you haven’t already) I am so excited but it has taken me ages to decide what I am going to wish for so now that I have finally decided and objects aren’t being added and then removed multiple times I thought I would share with you guys 6 of the items on my wish list just in case you are looking for inspiration!

  1. MacBook Pro – £899

Seeing as we’re currently moving house which is always expensive I doubt this will be coming to me this Christmas but it is still on my wish list anyway, although I was hoping to save up and buy one after Christmas sometime so I will probably prioritise other items for Christmas this year!

2. Nars Digital World Lip Pencil Coffret – £32

I saw these on a recent vlog regarding beauty related present ideas and these beautiful lip pencils were included. I didn’t realise Nars had created this gift set but now that I am aware I am really hoping I recieve this product this year because the colours are beautiful and super long lasting! Continue reading

November Favourites // 2014

It’s nearly Christmas and I could not be more excited, usually when it comes to Christmas I am like Scrooge, but this year I can not wait! I also want to use this post as an opportunity to apologize for not posting the last week, I am currently moving house so everything is a bit of a mess at the moment but I can assure you all, my posts will start to become frequent from now on! Now on to this months make-up favourites…

MAC ‘Please Me’ Matte Lipstick

DSCF1152So I shouldn’t have but I did.. I bought a new MAC lipstick to add to my rather large collection of lipsticks and I do not regret it in the slightest. This shade is called ‘Please Me’ and it is beautiful! I usually go for darker shades butDSCF1155 fancied trying something new as I am getting bored of wearing either dark red or purple day in, day out. I find this lipstick adds a lovely pink tone to my lips and is perfect for college and every day use! This lipstick is priced at £15.50.
